i saw this posted on Facebook, and I just had to share it. Of course, when a person buys MY book, “D Is For Dysfunctional…and Doo Wop,” he or she is really buying my entire life, because I didn’t leave out very much––only the dull parts.
I’m almost ready to publish another book, “Doo Wops in Paradise,” which is a fictionalized suspense story based on my quartet’s trip to Hawaii a few years ago. The setting and singing are true. The romance and murder are not. As soon as I finish editing and then publish, I’ll let everyone know.
In the meantime, I’m sorry I haven’t posted more blogs. The good news is that I’m too busy singing and writing and meeting with writer friends (which includes eating and drinking, of course).
If you are close to Westbrook Village this weekend, come to the Vistas Recreation Center on Country Club Drive and attend the Westbrook Follies–Friday night at 7:00 p.m. Saturday or Sunday at 2:00 p.m. You’ll be AMAZED at the audacity of Lilac Crazy Quartet as we portray four murderous inmates of the Cook County Jail with “Cellblock Tango” and “When You’re Good to Mama.”
Or…you could buy my book.
